Oil Painting of Horse

Thia is an oil painting of a Pinto horse.  Growing up I had a friend that had  a pinto horse, Tommy Fait .  We grew up and in the 70’s or 80’s, I was thinking of the horse and I painted it.  I showed it to him years later and he said it looked just like his horse.  I was trying to get the wind blowing through the tail and mane.  In the background the weeds are blowing.  I have a figure of a horse that shows me the muscles and bones of a horse so that can study it and be able to draw then paint a horse.

I had this horse painting in my room as a teen . Loved it then and still do. But recently due to a storm my house was destroyed and so was my painting. Could you tell me how to get another one?

My Grandmother did a painting of this same horse in the 1940’s. Do you know who the original artist is? She did several of them in different colors/ coat patterns. I found a print of it once, but it was too expensive for me to buy at the time. It had the original artist’s name on it but, I forgot what it was.
